Exercise Engaging the Body!

I’ve been thinking all day about what I can tell you about exercising that you don’t already know.

I mean you already know that exercising has been proven to help with emotional wellness, that it reduces anxiety and depression. Exercise also produces endorphins ( “feel good”, chemical ) which gives you that workout high this feeling can flow to other aspects of your life to help keep you healthy. Exercise can help you sleep better, feel happier or stress less and with your progress you may feel inspired to create and stick to more healthier habits, but you already know this right?

Heres something else you might already know, which is how your lungs help you with exercising, in order to provide you with the increased oxygens levels needed to keep up with an regular exercise routine and remove carbon dioxide, your breaths get faster and deeper. Your lung muscle strengthen and your capacity for oxygen increases.

Ok what about this one, exercising especially in the earlier years of life, can help increase bone density. Ever heard this before “don’t get old “, maybe this is why those people told us that is because once you hit your 30’s bone loss start to set in and yea it’s kinda inevitable but with continued exercised this unfortunate part of “getting old” as they say can be delayed and even slow down.

I definitely know you’ve heard this one before, your heart rate increases durning exercise to pump more blood, carrying heaps of oxygen throughout the body. Regular exercise strengthen your cardiovascular system.  The more effective your heart gets at this process the harder you can go at working out.
Did someone say beast mode!

Their is so much media about digestion with talk about prebiotic and probiotic, all I will say is that if you are someone who has trouble going to the “bathroom” exercising is one of the best ways to reducing constipation and support regularity, ok I’ve said my piece about digestion.

Now we can talk about some of the other benefits:

Increase longevity

Strengthen immune system

Healthy BMI

Reduce risk of Cancer

Decrease risk of diabetes and increase insulin sensitivity

Sexual wellness

Improved sleep quality

I hope this article makes you feel inspired to get up and start working out, I hope it also shows that exercising is beneficial to overall health engaging the lungs, cardiovascular system and digestion. Their is a way for everyone to get moving you just have to find what works for you and your body.

Im passionate about health and nutrition so just as it is  important to workout it’s important to eat the right things! Let’s work together to see what foods work and what foods don’t and let’s find out in what ways you like to get moving.
