Sometime our favorite takeout restaurant just isn’t in the budget, with this recipe you can satisfy your stir-fry craving and still stay on a healthy track!
1 container of cauliflower rice or 1 head grated
1/4 c soy sauce ( can use low-sodium)
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp sesame seed oil
2 c frozen peas and carrots
Protein: chicken, shrimp or tofu
In pan heat sesame seed oil, add in peas and carrots and sauté for 3 mins. Add in cauliflower rice, soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Let cook together for about 10 mins until rice has soaked up liquid.
Protein: if you choose to add a protein sauté first to build flavor then follow recipe and add in all other of ingredients.
